The Westlake swing bridge on the Lafayette Subdivision in Lake Charles, Louisiana, is stuck between the “open” and “closed” positions and is therefore currently out of service.

On Friday, October 13th, 2017 at 4:50 p.m. CDT, we received a preliminary report of an empty grain train derailment on the main track near Williston, ND which caused a local train to derail, blocking both main lines.
